Running KarniRetail for the First Time
• KarniRetail Stores all its data in SQL or MSDE.
• Database Server Name and Database is stored in POS.ini file.
• If you run the program for the first time it will ask you to either locate or create a POS.ini for it.
• If this is a computer where the database server is installed, please select Create.
• If database server is located over network, please select Locate.
Using Create Option
• Please specify the database server name
From Type of Database
select the appropriate database and then enter the database name and database location
Press Create , the database and POS.ini will be created.
Using Locate Option
You need to enter the location of POS.ini over the network.
